Advice To Parents
HOW TO USE THE BASIC SKILLS SERIES (The Series with the OWL)
From this site, for each child, make a selection of a number of books in different areas of study – say a set of 4/6 books in early years and a set of 6/8 books in later grades. ( Do not select just one book for each child and ask your children to work through them. They will probably get tired of doing the same type of work.) By selecting books in different areas, your children will learn more because they are continually meeting different challenges. To help you in these selections, some recommended sets are listed below.
